What we collect
To build your resume we collect: your current and target role details, the resume text you paste, your answers to our follow-up questions, and — only when you choose to save progress or purchase — your email address. We also record product analytics events (which steps you complete) tied to an anonymous session ID.
Uploaded resume files are processed in memory to extract text and are not stored as source files by our application.
How long we keep it
- Sessions without a purchase are automatically deleted 30 days after your last activity.
- Purchased resumes are kept through your 7-day edit window and deleted 90 days after it ends.
- You can delete everything immediately on the data deletion page.
How your data is used
- Your resume text is sent to our AI provider solely to analyze and generate your resume. We do not use your data to train AI models.
- If a PDF has no readable text layer, its contents may be sent to our OCR provider solely to extract the text. The original file is discarded by our application after extraction.
- Every generated claim must trace back to your resume or your explicit confirmation — we audit generated numbers automatically.
- If you save your email, we send at most 3 reminder emails referencing your own analysis, then stop. Purchasing stops all reminders.
- We never sell your data.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. See our Terms for the refund policy.
